Senior Graduation & Yearbook Information

Good afternoon Class of 2026!

Over the course of this year we will hold several different in-person class meetings to cover important information that you need to know as a senior.  Our first meeting will be this Friday, September 12 from 10:30- 11:00 AM in the auditorium.

If you are on campus for 2nd period, there will be an announcement releasing seniors to the auditorium around 10:30. 

If you are a Running Start student or a student with a reduced schedule and are able to attend, please join us!  
If your schedule will not allow you to attend in person, I will send out the slideshow following the meeting.  (Please make sure to review it so that you are in the loop and don't miss out!)

I have also included the list of senior meeting dates so that you can put them on your calendar.

Good afternoon Class of 2026 Families!

We had an excellent turn out for today's first senior meeting of the year.  Here is a link to the presentation, if you were unable to attend.
 
The next senior meeting will be on October 17th from 10:30- 11:00 AM in the auditorium.  Jostens, our cap and gown company, will be at this meeting to pass out graduation packets and to walk everyone through the process for ordering their cap, gown, tassel, stole and other grad gear. This meeting is for students only.  If you are unable to attend, extra packets will be available at the ASB Office following the meeting.

Good morning Class of 2026 Families and Students,

We are excited to share that, in addition to the traditional senior slideshow, senior Eli Campbell will be working with a small team to create a short film celebrating Hazen and the Class of 2026. This project will highlight the spirit of our school and your graduating class, and it will be shared during Senior Week in June. The film will not be shown outside of Hazen.

Throughout the year, Eli and his team will be capturing video at senior activities and school events. Please be assured that any close-up or featured footage of individual students will only be included with the student’s permission. General event filming may take place, but students who prefer not to appear on camera can simply choose to step aside.

The goal is for this project to be fun, celebratory, and inclusive of all student experiences. If you have questions, or if you’d like Eli’s team to capture a particular event, you may contact him directly at Eli.Cam004@g.rentonschools.us.

Good afternoon Senior Families!

If your senior was unable to attend last Friday's meeting, they can pick up a Jostens grad gear packet outside of the ASB Office.  You can also view the same information on the Jostens website or download the Hazen order form here.  The order deadline is Monday, October 27th.  All orders placed by 10/27/25, will be delivered to Hazen on Wednesday, November 12th.

Please note there are a lot of different packages available; but the only items required for the graduation ceremony are:

• Blue Hazen Gown
• Blue Hazen Cap
• Hazen Tassel
• Blue Hazen Stole 

If you just want to order these items please check out this package. Also, it is ok for students to borrow or wear caps and gowns belonging to previous grads as long as they fit correctly AND they have the new blue stole. Starting last year with the Class of 2025, we switched from a yellow stole to a blue stole.  You can just buy the new stole if you already have everything else.  It is listed at the very bottom on the back of the order form or online here.  (FYI-The online picture still shows a yellow stole; but your student will receive the new blue one.)  

Senior Yearbook Information!
Have your submitted your senior portrait to the Yearbook?  The deadline is January, 30, 2026.  To submit your portrait, please scan the QR code, add your contact information, and upload your senior portrait.

Purchase your Senior Ad Now! All adds are purchased through the Jostens website here: https://www.jostens.com/yearbooks/students-and-parents/yearbook-ads The deadline for all Yearbook Ads is January 30, 2026.

Schoolinks
Xello has been replaced by Schoolinks and unfortunately, it does mean that all seniors must restart and complete their High School and Beyond Plan in the Schoolinks system.  This is a graduation requirement.  At this point, all seniors need to login to Schoolinks via Clever and complete the Onboarding Lesson.  You can email Mr. Ngyuen at Quan.Nguyen@rentonschools.us with any questions.
