Change a Skyward Password
Step 1:
Go to Skyward by selecting the Skyward icon from the menu bar.
Step 2:
Select the "Forgot your Login/Password" link.
Step 3:
Enter your email or username.
- Students: This is your school email address and is in the format: fir.las000@rentonstudent.us.
- Families: Enter the email you gave the school when you registered your student(email on record). If you aren't sure what that email is, please contact the school office.
Click Submit.
Step 4:
Skyward will be send you an email with your username and a link to reset your password. Click on the link to go to the password reset page.
- Students: This email will be sent to your school Gmail. You can find your Gmail in the apps on your Chromebook or by logging into the RSD Login Portal from your home device.
Step 5:
Follow the prompts to update your password.
Select the green Reset Password button.
Step 6:
You can now log into Skyward using the username listed on your "Recover Username or Password" email (see step 4), and your new password.
- Students: Your username is the first part of your email address. If your email is fir.las000@rentonstudent.us, your Skyward username is fir.las000.
