Change a Skyward Password
elow is a video showing how students and families can change their Skyward password. This video has subtitles. Students and families can change the language of the subtitles to meet their needs.

From the Hazen Website Click on Skyward

Enter your Login ID:
Students: Only use the beginning part of your email. Up to not including the @rentonstudents.us; click on "Forgot your Login/Password"; then "Sign In"
Parents: If you don't have your login, just click on "Forgot your Login/Password"; then "Sign In"
Enter your email
Click on “I’m not a robot”
Students: Enter your Renton School District email - the whole thing this time; Submit
Example: Fir.las000@rentonstudent.us
Parents: Enter the email you gave the school when you registered your student(email on record); Submit
Link will be sent to email
Students: Skyward has sent a link to your School District G-mail email account! Where is my G-mail? It’s in the RSD Log in Portal, also there is an G-mail tile on the Dashboard or My Apps page. (this is a change from years past. Tech Services has enabled email forwarding so all email will be sent/forwarded to a students G-mail)
Parents: Skyward has sent a link to the email on record. Proceed to your email to receive a link to skyward.
Skyward passwords must be:
At least 8 characters long
Must have one number
Must have one special character (!@#$%^&*,.)
You cannot repeat a password
