Requesting to drop a MULTIPLE-TRIMESTER Long Course (i.e. a course that has both an “A” part and a “B” part), please follow this process:
Student: If you are interested in dropping a class that is multiple trimesters long, please use the following form to submit your request.
Important information before submitting your request:

1. When you chose a 2 or 3 trimester-long course for the 22-23 school year, you committed to the course and we did not reserve a space for you in a different course. Therefore, you will not be automatically dropped from the course.
2. In some cases, even if you are approved to drop a course, it may affect your college admissions eligibility. You are responsible for determining the possible consequences of dropping a course, if approved.
3. Our principal, Ms. Landes, will be reviewing all multi-trimester long change requests the week of March 13th. Please be patient. You will be notified by email once a decision has been made.

If you want to change a one-trimester long ELECTIVE class for 3rd trimester, follow these steps: 

1. View the courses with available seats here: Trimester 3 Elective Classes with Seats Available 
2. Click on the correct webform below corresponding to your school counselor/the first letter of your last name.
3. Complete the webform (below). Do not email your counselor to submit your schedule change request. Priority will not be given to emailed requests.
4. Be patient. It will take your counselor some time to process your request. Remember, there are 1880 students at Hazen, and just 5 school counselors!
5. If your change request is approved, you will see your schedule change in Skyward/Canvas. If your schedule change is not approved, you will receive an email from your school counselor.
