B. Davis Scholarship: Deadline May 21, 2023
Any Junior or Senior student can apply for the B. Davis Scholarship. Student needs to write a 1000 word essay answering this questions, "Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most. Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual."
Submissions must be sent via email for review before the deadline May 21, 2023.

BBB - Students of Integrity Scholarship- Deadline April 2023
2023 Students of Integrity Scholarship is rewarding a high school junior or senior who demonstrates excellent work ethics, has great personal integrity, is involved with their community, accomplished academically, and can exhibit excellent writing skills.
Each winning essay will receive a $2,000 scholarship to the school of their choice. For more information on eligibility requirements and how to apply, visit the Students of Integrity Scholarship page.

Bellevue College Foundation Scholarship- Application Available January 2023
For the three most important things to know about applying this year, visit Bellevue Foundation scholarship page.
To be considered for the BC Foundation Scholarship students must:
- Plan to attend or currently be attending Bellevue College.
- Maintain a minimum of 2.00 or above cumulative high school GPA through fall quarter/semester, if applying as a high school senior.
- Maintain a minimum of 2.00 or above cumulative college GPA through fall quarter/semester, if applying as a college student.
- Some Foundation scholarships require a student to be enrolled full-time, but others do not. Full-time enrollment is considered 12 or more credits per quarter.
Application for 2023-2024 will open January 2023. The application for 2022-2023 closed on March 7, 2022.

Blacks at Microsoft (BAM) Scholarships- Application Available January 2023
Blacks at Microsoft (BAM) is a company-sponsored employee network dedicated to supporting the continued growth and development of black employees at Microsoft Corporation. This year, BAM will award 27 scholarships to outstanding high-school seniors who are interested in pursuing careers in technology.
Application opens January 2023 and deadline to apply is March 2023.
Black College Expo Scholarship- Everyone enter now for a chance to win!

Career and Technical Scholarship- Application Available September 2023
The CTS scholarship was created to help fill trade, health care, and STEM workforce shortages around our state. The scholarship provides $1,500 in flexible scholarship funding for students attending community and technical colleges.
Students can use these funds to pursue an associate’s degree, certificate, or apprenticeship from one of Washington's 34 community and technical colleges. We are building pathways to the careers our state needs most such as nursing, welding, and information technology; nearly 1,000 trade, health care of STEM programs are eligible for CTS funding across Washington state.
Please note: applications for the CTS are accepted three times each academic year in the fall, winter, and spring.

Careers that Work Scholarships (CTW)- Dates vary
The Northwest Career Colleges Federation partners with colleges across the US to support Careers That Work! Browse their Catalog of Participating Institutions. This scholarship program allows the high school to award up to five $1,000 one-time scholarships for participating schools.
Chinese Institute of Engineers (CIE)- USA Seattle Chapter- Asian Pacific American (APA) Youth Scholarship Application Available April 2023
The Chinese Institute of Engineers offers a scholarship, "To promote career interests of Asian Pacific American (APA) youth in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as well as to encourage their continued contributions to our community and society, CIE/USA-Seattle chapter organizes scholarship opportunity annually," per their scholarship page. CIE wants to get Asian Pacific American students interested in STEM career fields.

College Board Opportunity Scholarship- ACT NOW! Monthly drawings
The College Board Opportunity Scholarship programs rewards students for their efforts and for taking initiative for their college career. Not only does the program reward students for the work they put into their college future, but it also guides them through the process! Visit their website and complete any of the key steps to be entered for a chance to win! Per their website, "Students whose families earn less than $60,000 a year have extra chances at scholarships because they’re eligible for two entries each drawing.
This scholarship program is open to all students and it doesn't require an essay, application, or minimum GPA!
College Bound Scholarship
College Bound students must keep their contact information up to date in order to receive their scholarships without any delays and to receive important updates about their financial rewards.
Students may call 888-535-0747, Option 1 to update thier information or contact them via email at Contact College Bound. Students may also contact them if they believe they applied for the scholarship but are not on the school's list of students to receive the College Bound Scholarship. Cougar Commitment
This need-based program pays full tuition and required fees, and is renewable for up to four years.

High School seniors in the State of Washington are encouraged to apply. Applicants will be judged on citizenship, academic achievement, and financial need. Each award is worth $2,500. and winners will be notified in Spring 2023.

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program: Application Available September 2022
High school seniors nationwide who demonstrate leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship are invited to apply for the 2022 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. This program annually provides students with $10,000 renewable scholarships; up to $40,000 total per recipient - and supports them as they lead and serve in college and beyond.

HITEC Foundation Scholarship- Application Available January 2023
Candidates for the HITEC Foundation Scholarship Application should meet the following requirements:
- Be of Hispanic heritage - at least one parent has to be of Hispanic descent
- A graduating high school senior or current college student
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Major in a technology field
- Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident

GSBA Scholarship and Education Fund: 2022-2023 Application Coming Soon!
The Greater Seattle Business Association Scholarship & Education Fund partners with the Pride Foundation to provide scholarships for LGBTQIA+ youth to pursue higher education.
When a student applies to our scholarship through the Pride Foundation they are also applying for 61+ scholarships at the same time, a great time saver!

John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest - Available September 2022
The Profile in Courage Essay Contest challenges students to write an original and creative essay that demonstrates an understanding of political courage as described by John F. Kennedy in Profiles in Courage.
In Profiles in Courage, John F. Kennedy recounted the stories of eight U.S. senators who risked their careers to do what was right for the nation. These leaders demonstrated political courage by taking a stand for the public good in spite of pressure by interest groups, their political party, or even their constituents.
The Profile in Courage Essay Contest opens for submissions on September 1, 2022. The contest deadline is January 13, 2023.

Just Athlete Scholarship: Application Available October 2022
Sports in Schools recognizes that you are more than "Just an Athlete" and has decided to honor you for the other roles you play, the impact you have on your community, and the efforts you have made for race and social justice!
Seniors who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply and must submit their application online or may submit a hard copy to Sports in Schools.

Kiwanis Club of Renton Scholarship: Application Available February 2023
The Kiwanis Club of Renton offers a scholarship for graduating high school seniors. You can review the application and requirements from the 2020 Kiwanis application. The scholarship application for the 2022-2023 school year will be available February 2023.
Scholarship Application
Scholarships are for $1,000 at a Washington State College or University, including Career and Technical Programs at the post-secondary level. Scholarships are available to Renton School District students graduating in 2020.
In order to apply:
1. Complete every section of the application.
2. Applications are due to your high school Career Center by Monday, May 11, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions/closures, you will need to e-mail all information to your Career Center Specialist.

Lotus Scholarship- Applications Available February 2023
The Lotus Scholarship Program is for students who are refugees or immigrants under the age of 21 who are pursuing a post-secondary education. Applications will be available February 2023.
All application information is kept strictly confidential. Students will need to read all of the eligibility requirements, create an account, and then complete the application online.

Microsoft disAbility Scholarship- Application Available October 2022
The disAbility Scholarship at Microsoft delivers on the mission of Microsoft’s cross disability employee resource group to empower and enable people with disabilities. This scholarship enables high school students with disabilities to go to college and target a career in the technology industry. In addition, we hope to contribute to increasing the pool of persons living with a disability enrolling in higher education and, in the long term, decrease the unemployment bias for this demographic.
This scholarship will be awarded to promising high school seniors who plan to attend a vocational or academic college and have a financial need. The amount of this renewable scholarship to be awarded is $5,000 per year, up to $20,000 total, which is paid through the Seattle Foundation on behalf of the disAbility Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Microsoft to the recipient’s school’s Financial Aid Office.
Application will be available online Fall of 2022.

Rotary Club of Renton Scholarship- Application Available February 2023
The Rotary Club of Renton will provide eight district graduating seniors a $3,000 scholarship. Two seniors from each of the district's four high schools will be chosen to receive a $3,000 scholarship. The application, eligibility requirements, and selection process will be the same for the 2022-2023 school year.
2022-2023 Application packets:
- Download and complete the application (this is a .docx file) The more complete the application the better chance at being awarded the scholarship.
- Three letters of recommendation (at least one from current high school teacher or staff member; two others can be from staff members or others)

The Seahawks Players' Equality and Justice For All Scholarship is offering $10,000/ year (renewable up to 4 years) to students who have overcome significant adversity. Along with a financial award, students will also have the opportunity to work alongside of industry professionals and mentors.

Once at the website, students will have to:
1. Select, “Apply" and register as an individual for the Seattle Foundation Survey Monkey Apply account.
2. Once registered and email is confirmed, search for "Seahawks" and click on "See my application."

Somali Student Association of UW Seattle- Release Date TBD
Somali Student Association of UW Seattle will award two students a scholarship worth $500-$1,000.

PCA awards scholarships of $500-$2,000 to high school athletes, based on their responses to questions pertaining to how they meet the standard defined in Elevating Your Game: Becoming a Triple-Impact Competitor by PCA Founder Jim Thompson
- Personal Mastery: Making oneself better
- Leadership: Making one's teammates better
- Honoring the Game: Making the game better.
Eligibility extends to any high school junior residing anywhere in the U.S. and playing for a high school team or in club sports!
The 2022 Scholarship opportunity for juniors graduating in 2023 has closed. Finalists will be announced in August 2022 via email. The 2023 opportunity for juniors graduating in 2024 will open on January 1, 2023.

The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) supports low- and middle-income Washington students pursuing eligible high-demand majors in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) or health care and encourages recipients to work in Washington state once they complete their degrees.
WSOS awards scholarships to seniors interested in studying STEM/Healthcare at a college in Washington. So, if you’re even considering studying STEM/Healthcare, apply to this scholarship! If you change your mind, after you begin your studies, you will not be penalized. This means you have nothing to lose, but up $22,500 to gain!!!
